The Port Columbus Naval Museum holds history and artifacts from the civil war. The CSS Jackson,
the largest intact artifact remaining from the civil war rest in all her glory inside this massive building.
Sometimes you can still detect he faint smell of burnt wood that sent her to the murky depths of the
Chattahoochee river. Do sailors still walk the old wooden decks of the once glorious battle ships?
The Alabama Paranormal Research Team says "YES!" not only does Port Columbus offer tons of
educational and historical opportunities but the ghost of the museum still roam this building possibly
looking for ship mates or stuck in some realm not of the living.
The Sea Ghost Tours offered at Port Columbus is not your typical ghost tour. There are no scary
mask or creepy entertainers. This tour is based on actual haunted events documented by the
Alabama Paranormal Research Team. Walk through the lantern light along side your tour guide
dressed in period clothing, to the destinations were the Alabama Paranormal Research Team
picked up Electromagnetic spikes, Electronic Voice Phenomenon, and had personal experiences
based on 2 formal investigations by our team you won't wanna miss this educational and potentially
haunted tour.
We can't guarantee the ghost will appear but we can guarantee you'll leave the Sea Ghost Tour
with the thought that something is not quit right about the Port Columbus Naval Museum!
Tours will be held at Port Columbus the last Thursday of every Month. Tours are based on evidence
gathered by the Alabama Paranormal Research Team's official investigations of Port Columbus.
Hear EVP's gathered by our team and see what we experienced on our investigation's. Member's of
the Alabama Paranormal Research Team will be on hand for the tours.

On May 28, 2011 the Port Columbus National Civil War Naval Museum held a rally in support
of the museum. The city government has purposed to cut the museum budget by 70% which
will force them to close their doors. People from all over the United States and abroad traveled
to Port Columbus in support of the museum and to stop the city government from cutting the
museum budget.
