Faith Serafin is the Founder/Director of the Alabama Paranormal Research Team. She started this
group several years ago after She found out that a good friend and herself shared the same love of the
paranormal. Cassie and Faith have grown to be the very best of friends. What started as two friends
has developed into an outstanding group of people who each share a love for the paranormal. Who
are all very different and each individual member of my team brings with them something different that
helps make this group unique! Email me at: FounderFaithSerafin@AlabamaGhostHunters.com
Cassie is Co-Founder of the Alabama Paranormal Research Team. She and Founder Faith
Serafin started our group as an organization in Aug. 2007. Helping people verify paranormal
activity is important to her because she knows that people genuinely need help from groups like
APRT. Outside of ghost hunting she enjoys spending time with my family, and watching her
son and nephew play baseball. They are truly the light of her life!! Her family is important to her
and Faith and they share a strong sense of family it's one of many things in common outside of
the paranormal field. Family first is and will always be first priority. As with A.P.R.T. This group
is a small family.
Michael Donaldson is a truck driver for a company out of Chattanooga,TN. When he's not
trucking he's getting together with the A.P.R.T. and looking for ghosts. Mike is a major
contributor to the Tech Department. Which enables the team to investigate through scientific
and logical theory. Whether paranormal activity exist or if its just something that occurs naturally.
His job is to confirm or to deny that there are is any paranormal activity going on outside of a
reasonable explanation. With that being said when he's not driving a 18 wheeler, or hunting
down paranormal activity He loves to go to the beach, the lake or even the mountains. He
enjoys deep sea fishing and other competitive sports
Michelle Smith is an investigator and researcher for Alabama Paranormal Research Team.
She has a B.A. from Auburn University in Criminal Justice and Criminology. She loves travelling,
cooking, painting, writing, and researching. She loves spending time with her family more than
anything, but She do has one hobby you don't hear many say. She love ghost hunting.
Michelle has had an interest in the paranormal since she was about nine years old, or perhaps it
had an interest in her. Every home She ever lived in has had its fair share of ghosts or
poltergeists. Leaving her wanting answers to what she feared so badly. She finally decided to
fear no more and decided that they had their chance to live, and now it was her turn. Michelle
shares with others that they too can take control, especially the very young who sometimes can
feel plagued or cursed with what may go on in their lives that they can't explain. She too was a
child who couldn't explain to her parents why She was ten years old or even sixteen years old
and didn't want to sleep alone in her bed. She was able to overcome her fears and it is now her
mission to help others do the same.
Hello everybody! My name is Brandon Overton but prefer to be called by my nickname Bert. I
have been associated with A.P.R.T. Since September of 2007. Although I have been interested
in the paranormal since I was a young child. My experiences started when I was around 12 or so.
I was with my family at a local graveyard and kept noticing a young girl in a bright white dress, that
seemed to follow me everywhere I went that day. Later in the afternoon, I asked my Mom who the
little girl was, and she said that she did not see that little girl at all. So, that's the way that I became
interested in the paranormal. I also have seemed to be the attack of a stigma back in October of
2007. You can read more about it on our web site, and see actual pictures also.
Other than the paranormal, I have a varied interest of many things. I like everything from riding
4-wheelers, to just relaxing with one of my many collected horror movies.
If you have any questions or suggestions, you can email me at APRTINVESTIGATOR@AOL.COM

John-Mark began paranormal investigating in late 1984. He has a BA in History. He specializes in
research and debunking. He also has great knowledge of local history in Opelika and Auburn.
Specializing in Civil war history makes him a great and valuable asset to our team. He also does
a great amount of research and aids in Tech Support.
John Mark also has an extensive musical background. He brings to the group great knowledge of
our community here in Lee county. His historical background helps bring accurate and exact
history to a location. He is currently involved in most of our Civil War era investigations.
Specializing in pre-civil war and civil war period locations.
my name is Thea Allison. Longtime friend of Faith Serafin and newer to the part-time team, I'm
interested in everything related to paranormal science. My main passion is helping people in
need and in helping A.P.R.T., I find that I can do that on a new level.
I've had my own run-ins with things that could not be explained and I feel I have a deep
understanding of people's emotions. People need answers and if I can help with attaining them,
then I believe I've accomplished something good.
I'm proud to know and believe in the abilities of the people you see here on this website and I look
forward to helping them in any way I am needed.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and kids and the many friends that I've
been blessed with over the years. I also love the stage and go to a play or musical at least once
a month. When not involved with that, you can usually find me outdoors taking pictures of
anything that will stand still long enough.
Roger Cender is a resident of Andalusia, Alabama and Sergeant for the Andalusia Police
Department. Roger is originally from New Jersey. He enjoys trips to the beach in the summer,
boating, window tinting, and has an appreciation for the paranormal. While his work leaves him
little time to investigate he is an associate of the Alabama Paranormal Research Team.
Providing the team with security while conducting investigations within his jurisdiction and
abroad. Roger is skeptical of the paranormal but has had a few experiences that have left him
looking for answers.
My name is Tonya Campos. After many years of living with the idea that something really does go
bump in the night, I have found that there are other people that also not only believe this but go out and
look for it.
To be able to go out and help people that are fearful of what they don’t know or understand is
something is important to me. Personal experiences run aplenty in my lifetime and having no one to
really explain what was going on did not comfort me much.
I love just about anything outdoors! I love to be with my family, I have the three best kids a mother could
ask for and a husband that literally works almost every day to give us what we need and have. I love
reading, horseback riding and swimming. I am an animal lover at heart. I am also working on my B.A.
in Computer Science.
I backed away from the paranormal for many years but never really lost my interest completely. Then
Faith found me and I knew it was time for me to use my God given talents to help out in any way
whether it be big or small. To be able to give anyone some kind of peace or understanding on what
people are going through is my mission.
