This page is dedicatedto the Alabama Paranormal Research Team's Junior Investigator's. Alot of people don't realize that kids can get
involved in ghost hunting (to a certain degree) and get alot of educational benefits, such as Science, Math, and History. The
research part of any investigation is of course the ground floor for any investigation. Getting kids involved in looking up the history
of a certain location teaches them how to properly use the internet for research, well as your local library and even there schools
library for actual events that happen in a particular area. Web skills and how to properly run a web site and the benefits of using the
internet. Math as we all know, is an essential tool in life and kids learning how to read meter's like EMF and thermal devices get a
math lesson while having alot of fun. Also the basic principal of knowing where energy comes from and how it works is where the
Science lesson comes in. All while getting a good scare! Teaching kids to properly use these tools and how to be better and safer
ghost hunters helps them learn to respect and understand that there are certain guidelines that have to be followed in order to
properly conduct yourself as a paranormal researcher/investigator. It's also a GREAT way to teach kids to work together, like a team!
Last but not least it's also a good way to teach kids to overcome there fears. What kid isn't afraid of things that go "bump in the
night?" Empowering kids and giving them a sense of strength and self esteem is a vital tool in life as well. We hope you enjoy this
page as much as myself and our future ghost hunters.
For safety reasons only our users first and or "nick names" will be used, Junior Investigator's will NOT have
there e-mail address listed, nor will we tolerate any type of online weirdo's searching this page.

NOTE THIS PAGE IS MONITORED VERY WELL!!!
June 21st 2008 Jr. Investigators take on Springvilla Mansion as a training excercise. part of there training requires them to
write up information (before and after) on the locations they investigate.

Opelika-Springvilla Park
Jr. Investigator Brett Writes:

The cruel slave owner who built this plantation was reportedly killed by a slave on the stairway landing. For years the blood
stain was there until the wood was replaced. The ghost of the plantation owner reportedly haunts the house, and the
sounds of slave chains and moans have always been heard.

Jr. Investigator Jason Writes:

At Springvilla no matter where you stand your being watched. Springvilla is an intense place to be at until 1 AM. The first
part of the house was built in the 1800's. The second part in the back was built in the 1930's. Today you can not get to the
top floor of the newest part. No one has been there in about 30 years except to sweep it out every other year or so. The
house was swarming with bats everywhere you go and we believe the stain on the wall in the upstairs bedroom might be an
unsolved mystery.

We had two tag alongs that night. Kayla, and Michelle. There was some people from a University doing experiments with
EVP as well. We are waiting to find out about the new software one of there members created. We believe we caught an
apparition that night on video and believe it can not be debunked.

Junior Investigator Co-Co Writes:

At the Springvilla Mansion during the investigation at about 11:30 PM I was running EMF it was in the main house area
although the bats in the upstairs room ran us out, I did feel like something was there. I had nothing on EMF in that location.

The adrenaline rush felt like it was going to be fun. We did get something on video. There has been the report of a little
boy in over alls who roams the ground in spirit. We caught what I think is the face of the little boy. All together Springvilla
was our best investigation yet. I can't wait until next weekend when we go to Sloss Furnace in Birmingham.
