| What DARE means to the Alabama Paranormal Research Team and our Junior Investigators. DARE is a wonderful organization based in most if not all schools nation wide. The purpose of DARE is D-drug A-Awareness R-Resistance E-Education. Keeping kids active in things like sports, after school programs, volunteer community work, and even organizations like the Alabama Paranormal Research Team can have great impact on the lives of kids who face the dangers of drugs and violence everyday. Our Junior Investigators are all members and graduates of the DARE program here in Lee County, Alabama. They have all been active in the program for several years. Showing our support for local schools and organizations like DARE are important to us and our Junior Investigators. This program has shown us how to be more active in our schools and how to teach kids to resist the pressures of teen life. Showing kids that there is support and trust in a community and giving them the self esteem it takes to overcome obstacles like peer pressure and helping kids stay on the right path to education, and a better life.
